The Ukrainian President had a meeting with the British Minister of Defense Ben Wallace in Kyiv

In Kyiv is located the British Secretary of Defense Ben Wallacewhere he had a meeting with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and with his counterpart Olezi Reznikov.
According to the Ministry of Defense in London, the working visit was made to hear first hand Mr. Wallace how the operational needs of the Ukrainian armed forces are being formed as the nature of the armed conflict continues to change.
“This will ensure that the UK’s continued support is evolving to meet these needs and that it is appropriate for the situation on the ground,” the British statement added.
Messrs. Wallace, Zelensky and Reznikov agreed to continue working even closer in the future to support their common goal of freeing Russia from Russian occupation. They also discussed the range of equipment and training the UK currently provides and what further support London can offer to help Ukrainian forces defend their country.
President Zelensky said in a message to the Telegram platform that the United Kingdom had played “consistently” leading role in supporting Ukraine by offering arms, financing and imposing sanctions on Russia.
He added that the Ukrainian government appreciates this support and that the words of the British are being translated into action.
“I’m grateful to Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace “and to his team for this visit, as well as to the United Kingdom, the government and the Prime Minister for their assistance,” the Ukrainian leader concluded.
