Former President Donald Trump said his daughter, Ivanka Trump, was not involved in analyzing the election results after admitting defeat in her Jan. 6 testimony.
The former president addressed his eldest daughter on Thursday night after hearing some of her comments on video at the first hearing held by the Parliamentary Electoral Commission investigating the parliamentary unrest.
“Ivanka Trump was not involved in monitoring or investigating the results of the election,” the 45th president wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Friday.
He’s been out for a long time and, in my opinion, he was trying to respect the position of Bill Barr and his attorney general (he was trying!).
Her resentful post came hours after Commission Vice Chair Liz Cheney made Ivanka’s comments to lawmakers and the general public watching the hearing.
“Many White House employees of President Trump also know that the evidence does not support President Trump’s claim,” Chainy said. “This is the president’s daughter commenting on Bill Barr’s statement that[el Departamento de Justicia]it did not find enough fraud to invalidate the election.
In the clip, the interviewee asks Ivanka, the president’s top adviser, how Barry’s comments influenced her view of the 2020 presidential election.
“It influenced my point of view,” replied Ivanka. “I respect the attorney general, so I agree with him.”
Former President Trump’s reaction to Ivanka’s comments is surprising, as he has long been recognized as her beloved son.
His comment about Ivanka was just one of several fiery remarks he made after a parliamentary hearing in which lawmakers accused him of staging a riot as an “attempted coup”.
“The elected committee of Political Hacks refused to get many witnesses and positive comments, refused to talk about cheating and cheating in large-scale and sham elections. Decided to use a documentary producer. News ABC only twists the negative images.
He addressed Bar in December 2020, stating that the Justice Department has “never seen a major scam that could have influenced different election outcomes.”
On Friday, the former president called Barr “a weak and threatened attorney general who was always “accused, threatened and scared by Democrats.”
As Chainy told an audience, former President Trump also refused to approve of Vice President Mike Pence’s hangman chant.
“I didn’t mean or say ‘hold on to Mike Pence,'” he wrote to Truth Social.
