The lucky ticket holders have won an incredible £55 million in EuroMillions.
The winner matched all seven numbers and won £54,957,242.50 in Friday’s draw.
Camelot confirmed that they had come out to win the award, but there was no word on whether they intended to announce it publicly.
This is the last special win recorded by a British lottery player in recent months.
The winner won 9.109 million in the draw on February 4 and chose to remain anonymous.
The biggest National Lottery win for Joe and Jess Twain from Cheltenham was confirmed six weeks ago.
Claims go through a validation process before prizes are paid in a meeting with one of Camelot’s award-winning advisors.
According to the company, there is no information on where the ticket was purchased unless it is an individual or collective winner or the owner of the ticket decides to announce it publicly.
Andy Carter, senior adviser to the award winner, said:
“Our focus is to support ticket holders through this process and enable them to truly enjoy the life-changing benefits.
“Tomorrow night, the British big winner gets another shot at an estimated £122 million jackpot.”
