The Florida mother stopped trying to kidnap her last week after noticing a man chasing two girls from the side of the church.

According to FOX13 Tampa, David Daniels, 37, said he could start chasing two 12-year-old girls and “monitor” them as they walked back to Fishhawk, Florida.

Daniels chased two girls who were passing by the church when their mother noticed them and something was wrong.

“I saw two children riding their bikes and a grown man behind them,” said the mother, who did not want to be named.

“One of the girls told me: ‘Help me, this is not my father,'” the woman said.

At the time, police said Daniels had already hit one of the girls in the head and another in the head.

Daniels then revealed that he was her father and talked about how they recently moved to town.

Somehow he was talking about his head, back, arms around his neck and something in his ears. “‘She said.

The women then took them to the church before swimming and called 911 to warn authorities about the suspicious man.

“I was talking to him,” he said. I said, “Oh great, where are you coming from here?” He said, “Oh, I’m not sure.”

After that, he returned to the Fishhawk center. A Hillsborough County councilman was able to track him down and arrest him on two charges: custody and child abuse.

The mover told local media that she did not want any help.

“I don’t want to be a hero. I just did what I wanted someone to do for my kids,” he said.

“There are moms like me. They’ll recognize the signs and know what to do. At the time I didn’t know if I was getting the right answer. But they’re fine. So I’m home today.”

Both boys told police they believed they had been kidnapped. Daniels is currently in the Hillsborough County jail on a $104,000 deposit.
