All British Airways crew members have been quarantined for three weeks after a positive monkeypox test in Singapore.
As is known, two pilots, nine flight attendants and one stewardess are in quarantine for 21 days.
The group was tested for a rapidly spreading disease on Sunday night when they stopped on their way back from Australia to countries in Southeast Asia.
A BA source told MailOnline: “One of them arrested the whole crew because they had it. Now they have to spend 21 days in quarantine.
“Everyone was told not to talk about it, but that’s all they’re talking about.”
Reportedly positive results were obtained on the return leg of the London-Sydney flight.
After finishing the outdoor tour, the group stopped in an Australian city for a day before returning to the UK via Singapore.
“We are working closely with the Singapore health authorities to provide assistance with the information we need,” a BA spokesman said.
This was after the UK Health and Safety Agency (HSA) recommended giving the chickenpox vaccine to gay and bisexual men at high risk of getting monos.
Experts warn that the UK monkey epidemic continues to grow and remains out of control.
Anyone can get it, but data shows that men who have sex with men have a higher rate of transmission.
The UK has more infectious diseases than any other country affected by the virus and has experienced the largest outbreak ever recorded outside of Africa.
Health officials confirmed last week that the number of cases had risen to 574 since it was first discovered on May 7.
