The tourists were amputated Monday afternoon after being attacked by a New York taxi that jumped a sidewalk and amputated three people.

A 32-year-old Mexican woman was one of six injured in a crowd of drivers sitting outside Black Seed Bagels in midtown Manhattan as they crossed the sidewalk.

Minutes after the incident, a group of New Yorkers took action, dropping a £4,500 SUV from two obsessed tourists.

According to ABC 7, another 48-year-old woman from Columbus, Ohio also suffered serious leg injuries that may require amputation.

New York City Mayor Erik Adams issued a statement late Monday calling the crash a “terrible tragedy.”

He said numerous videos were taken from the scene and investigators planned to check how the crash progressed.

The mayor also thanked the 20 New York heroes who came to explain the taxi to the victims and showed that “New Yorkers speed up in the face of tragedy.”
