This week saw the biggest rail strike in 30 years and many services were disrupted.
The large-scale rally took place on Tuesday and is scheduled again today and Saturday.
Even if the train runs on Friday, the strike is expected to be delayed.
So if you are planning to travel this week, the big question is ებულია Has my train been cancelled?
There are several ways to test your ride.
First, you can enter the service you are looking for on the National Rail website.
This website displays information about train services nationwide.
Search for the trip you want to go on and it will show you if it really works and when it will happen. Or, if the service is not available at the time you wish to travel, nothing will be refunded.
For example, if you search for Paddington services in Truro, Cornwall or London tomorrow, you will see the message “Outbound journeys are not available on the selected day. You will return to the next available journey”.
This is because basic services are not working in Cornwall on the day of the strike. Therefore, the website will display the following services available on Friday:
This website also has a list of delays affecting each UK train provider, which you can find here.
For example, looking at the Great Western Railway, which runs on the main line between London and Cornwall, “The Great Western Railway expects a temporary impact on rail services from June 21-25. Schedules will be significantly reduced.”
Provides additional information on compensation or refunds and a link to the map shown in red where the service does not work at all.
We’ve also put together a list of what train operators and their services will look like this week. You can see this here.
Only 60% of trains left on Wednesday and some operators stopped service slightly earlier than usual ahead of today’s main trips.
The industrial campaign involves approximately 40,000 members of the Railway, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) of the Railway Network and 13 railway operators.
RMT members also went on strike on the London Underground on Tuesday.
The collaborative action caused travel turmoil across the UK, with journeys taking longer and road traffic becoming more congested as people switched to cars and buses to get to work.
RMT met with Network Rail and the railway company yesterday in another failed attempt to break the deadlock.
