More than 130 Palestinian protesters injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers

Violent clashes erupted on Friday between anti-Jewish settlers and Israeli soldiers in the communities of Beita and Beit Dayan, south and east of Nablus respectively, and in Kafr Kadum, east of Kalkilia, according to eyewitnesses.

More than 130 Palestinian protesters were injured in clashes that broke out on Friday with Israeli soldiers in various West Bank communities, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Among the wounded are three live ammunition and nine plastic bullets, while the rest were taken to hospitals with respiratory problems due to tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers.

Protesters set fire to tires and hurled stones at Israeli soldiers deployed around the communities.

In the three aforementioned communities, there are frequent incidents of Palestinian demonstrations against the expansion of Jewish settlements in the West Bank.

The Israeli army has not issued a statement regarding Friday’s incidents.
