The Ukrainian refugees, who made international headlines when they fled to Britain, where they married their sponsors, say “no one stole.”
Sophia Kalkadim, 22, fled war-torn Lviv, moving to Bradford in early May with 29-year-old Tony Garnet, his wife Lorna and their two children.
Tony immediately took a liking to his new guest and decided to leave his longtime partner just 10 days later.
Tony fell in love with Sophia and said that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
Her heartbroken source said Sophia only had her masculine sight and seduced him with “low heels and lipstick.”
However, Sophia said that she did not try to rob anyone, and Lorna claimed that she brought the two together due to her constant suspicions.
She shed tears over the scandal and said her parents were ashamed of her.
In a new Instagram post about the incident, Sophia said: “I finally decided to write a post about the latest world events,” she said in an Instagram post.
“The first thing I want to say is that no one in the family steals from me. It is a conscious and deliberate decision, the right to love, the right to be happy and who you are with. It was the decision of a 29-year-old man who has the right to choose.”
He also surprised the press, saying that the coverage of the case was “clearly exaggerated and written in the most dramatic way possible”.
She provided insight into how her relationship with Tony was progressing, saying their love was “genuine and wonderful.”
He states: “The second thing I want to emphasize is the concept of ‘yellow press.’ Do you really think someone can be kidnapped from a happy family in 10 days?
Anthony and I are great. So thank you to those who supported me from the beginning and knew that there was something realistic and wonderful behind my actions. Otherwise, you will be disappointed with your judgment.
Sophia laughed at her on social media, “the truth comes out.”
His story first appeared in May and explains how the Ukraine war changed his life.
Forced to leave her job, her daily life and her friends, Sophia decided a shelter in the UK was her safest option and posted a sponsorship advertisement on the Ukrainian website Opora Homes in April.

Tony arrived at the site and was familiar with the details of Sophia, but noted how slow the process was.
Sophia left Germany for Manchester and arrived in the UK on May 4. So Tony picked her up at Manchester airport.
Soon Tony and Sophia were watching TV all night and Lorna was skeptical.
But Sophia said she just needed to open someone up after the war-torn country fled.
He previously claimed that he was not guilty of breaking up his marriage and told the sun: I liked my family. I spent a lot of time with Lorna trying to help her. But he was two-faced.
His constant suspicion and tension brought Tony and me closer together.
He created this situation by always suggesting that something was going on when it wasn’t. So it’s his fault.
Lorna says she punched and kicked Sophia after seeing her neighbors talking too closely.
But Tony said, “If he goes, I’ll go.”
Tony later claimed that when he first saw Sophia, it was “love at first sight” and that leaving his partner of 8 years Lorna was “reckless”.
He said, “I want to get going and be happy.”
Lorna spoke to the Sun on Sunday, saying she believed Sophia “looked at Anthony from the beginning and decided she wanted him and took him away.”
She added: “He didn’t care about the remaining destruction. Everything I knew was the other way around for two weeks.”
