The perpetrators who invaded the exhibition with weapons threatened the visitors and broke the window of a jeweler with a bat.
Armed robbers invaded, day-noon, at exhibition of art and antiquities conducted in Maastricht of the Netherlands and is one of the largest in the world, using a bat to break the window of a jeweler.
Police say they have arrested two of the four suspects and are pursuing the others. Due to the robbery the visitors of TEFAF (European Exhibition of Fine Arts) they left the area in fear.
A stunning video posted on social media shows the four men, dressed in helmets, elegant clothes and sunglasses, smashing a TEFAF window and threatening the crowd by holding what looks like a pistol.
Meanwhile, the Netherlands has its own vibe.

“No one was injured” reported the police of the Dutch province of Limburg.
Police forces blocked the streets near the exhibition as well as an important tunnel, as soon as they were informed of the robbery. “Police investigations, which began immediately after the robbery, led to two arrests”the authorities announced.
According to Dutch media, the window broken by the robbers contained jewelry with diamonds and other valuables of the well-known London jewelry store Symbolic and Chase.
THE TEFAF is one of largest art exhibitions and antiquities in the world and attracts thousands of visitors. It has been running for 30 years and this year it returned to Maastricht as it had not happened in previous years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
A TEFAF spokesman told AFP that a team of security guards at the fair had intervened and disarmed one of the perpetrators as Dutch police arrived at the scene. “Within minutes”.

The footage posted on social media sites shows the four perpetrators amid the chaos they caused in the exhibition. The Dutch media call the perpetrators “Peaky Blinders” because the helmets they wore are reminiscent of those worn by the British gang of the eponymous television series.
In TEFAF hosts hundreds of works of art, including one 17th century painting worth one million euros. This is not the first time the report has been targeted by robbers. In 2011, a diamond and a diamond necklace were stolenworth 860,000 euros, from a London jeweler.
