Johnson from NATO Summit: Russian withdrawal from Fidonisi highlights Ukraine’s capability

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated today that Russia’s decision to withdraw from Snake Islanda strategic position in the Black Sea, is an indication of Ukraine ‘s ability to counterattack.

“If you were looking for evidence of the Ukrainians’ astonishing ability to counterattack, overcome adversity and repel the Russians, then look at what just happened today on Snake Island, where Russia was again forced to leave.”Johnson said in a press conference at the NATO summit in Madrid.

Johnson also said Britain’s defense spending would reach 2.5% of gross domestic product by the end of the decade.

Ukraine has the power to repel Russia and win the war that began four months ago, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said today.

“We believe that (the Ukrainians) do have the power to repel the Russians and send them back to where they were before February 24,” Johnson told reporters at the NATO summit in Madrid.
