Shocking footage from inside and outside the Ukrainian shopping mall shows people freezing for the rest of their lives as Russian missiles attack.
At least 19 people were killed and more than 60 wounded on Monday afternoon when Vladimirputin’s troops attacked the Amster shopping mall in Kremenchuk, central Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry denied the attack on the mall instead claiming to have targeted cash from the weapon that caused the explosion at the adjacent empty mall.
However, Ukraine said the mall was directly attacked by Russian missiles, with some 1,000 people inside at the time of the attack.
Now newly released CCTV footage of the mall and surrounding buildings shows how Monday afternoon turned into a horrific scavenger hunt.
Two cameras in the same store captured the moment the rocket hit, products spilled from the shelves, and the store owner ran for shelter.
Two more cameras from outside the building showed the wreckage landing outside the mall.
Second, it showed smoke billowing from the building as the third exterior camera collided, with the two bystanders barely avoiding the scattered debris.
Another camera overlooking the parking lot found the rocket a hundredth of a second before landing on the building, causing a catastrophic explosion.
New video released by Ukrainian security agencies refutes Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov’s accusations that the mall was “not working”.
The attack on Kremenchuk darkened the last day of the G7 summit in Germany on Tuesday.
In a joint statement, Boris Johnson and leaders of the United States, Canada, Japan, France, Germany and Italy condemned the “terrible attack”.
“We join Ukraine in mourning the innocent victims of this brutal attack,” they said.
“Indiscriminate attacks on innocent civilians are war crimes.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin and officials are responsible.”
Cameras released earlier this week show the moment a rocket crashes into the Credo Mash factory behind the mall, destroying four warehouses and pelting bystanders with debris.
Cameras focused on a nearby park show how quickly “normal life” turned into hell as debris fell from the sky and people ran for lives.
The funeral of the 19 people killed in a Russian rocket attack on Monday was scheduled for Thursday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin denied attacking his military trading hub on Thursday and said Russia would not attack civilian targets.
He claimed that his confession was obtained through torture in the Kremenchuk.
