Shocking CCTV footage captures the moment a Manhattan worker allegedly stabbed a customer to death after the enraged man came around the counter and attacked him for a bag of crisps!
The worker, as the “New York Post” writes, initially appears to be serving customers behind the store’s counter when he is suddenly confronted by a younger man. The customer starts yelling at the store employee, before pushing him into a shelf, as seen in the video.

After several moments, the worker pulls out a large knife and stabs it into the neck and chest of the younger man, who begins to bleed. The pair move out of the camera’s field of view and the clerk re-enters, still holding the bloody knife.
Unfortunately, 37-year-old Austin Simon was rushed to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life. The deadly fight reportedly began around 11 p.m. Friday when a woman entered the store with a child to buy a bag of potato chips, police said. Police said the unidentified woman did not have enough money for the snack and quickly left the store, calling the victim. That’s when 37-year-old Simon stormed into the store, went behind the counter and got into a confrontation with the store clerk. Police arrested him and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
