Ukraine’s foreign minister said the international community has no right to allow Russia to blackmail the world with high energy prices
Ukraine’s foreign minister today accused Russia of playing “hunger games” and said it had “no place in any international forum” in a video call to his counterparts at the G20 meeting in Bali.
Dmytro Kuleba said that the international community has no right to allow Russia to blackmail the world with high energy prices, with hunger and security threats, according to a statement issued by his office.
For his part, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia has used only a small part of its capabilities in the “special military operation” in Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin said yesterday that Russia was just getting started in Ukraine and challenged the West to try to defeat it on the battlefield, while insisting that Moscow was still open to the idea of peace talks.
“Russia’s potential is so great that only a small part of it has been used in the special operation,” Peskov said in a video briefing to reporters.
