One of Boris Johnson’s closest allies, Nadine Dorries, could run for the next prime minister.
The culture secretary reportedly told friends that he considered himself a “Boris continuation” candidate and was “seriously” considering running for public office.
He believes the political situation can be further altered to “keep the Boris Johnson flames alive”.
A friend told Mail+: He wants to keep the Boris flames alive.
They added: “Nadeen is confident that he will win the election. He is outraged at the betrayal of the parliamentarians and ministers who defeated him.
“He also personally offends many of his potential enemies, including Penny Mordaunt. [trade minister] Those who are on the other side of the awakening debate because of their obsession with transgender rights.
“He wants to blind the arrogance of those who have been conspiring against him for months.

“Unlike them, his words are his bond. He doesn’t stab them back, he doesn’t make short plots or plans. If he says he will, he’ll go ahead. Do it.”
It is understood that Mrs. Dolly is particularly interested in voting, believing that it is a “moral obligation” to block the path to power if Jeremy Hunt officially enters the race.
“Nadeen agrees with the widely held view that Jeremy is a basically characterless Theresa May,” said a friend.
The idea is reported to have sprung to mind last week when Channel 4’s Kathy Newman asked him if he was going to run.
In response to claims at the time, Ms. Doris fired back, telling Times Radio on July 6:
Potential leadership candidates are running to protect Brexit, raise standards and fight “wake-up culture”.
In her current role as culture secretary, Ms Doris is campaigning for sweeping reform of the BBC and Channel 4, claiming the station is “captured” by the left.
He was also an enemy of former Finance Minister Rishi Sunak, telling a friend that “Rishi’s claim that Boris has stopped the tax cuts is actually the opposite.”
More than a dozen Tory lawmakers are considering entering leadership races, with names identified so far including former prime ministers Rishi Sunak, Tom Tugendat and Surah Braverman.
However, more names are expected in the coming days, from Liz Truss to Nadim Zahawa, Ben Wallace, Sajid Javid, Penny Mordaunt and Jeremy Hunt.
Sanak was the first celebrity to break through today and announced his leadership in a huge promotional video detailing his family’s life story in the UK.
In the video, he said: “Rebuild trust, rebuild the economy, unify the country.”
Mr Sanak, along with former Health Minister Sajid Javid, was the first to resign over the Chris Pincher fraud scandal, which sent the Tories into the biggest political collapse in recent history.
Johnson has seen the minister resign on his last day as leader of the Conservative Party.
Meanwhile, Snack said, “We have come to the conclusion that we cannot continue in this way,” and people expected the government to “act appropriately, competently, and seriously.”
