Panel SA: After pressure from the trade on Guedes, auditors say that standard operation has no end date

by

After the efforts of trade entities to pressure Minister Paulo Guedes for a solution to the standard operation in the Federal Revenue, tax auditors reacted saying that the mobilization “continues without a date to end”.

This week, the sector sent Guedes a letter, signed by Alfredo Cotait Neto, president of ACSP (São Paulo Commercial Association), also representing leaders of other entities such as Abicalçados and IBGM (jewelry stores).

In the document, they argued that the problem has been eroding the image of Brazilian commerce with breaches of contracts due to delays and loss of competitiveness in deliveries.

Through the National Sindifisco, auditors reacted saying that the government does not give feedback to the category on the claims. The union says that the standard operation is due to lack of personnel and equipment.
