Research, as the “Mirror” writes, records that one in five women in Britain who had an affair did so with a builder, usually hired by their husband. Other professions such as postmen, personal trainers and police officers claim a high position in the survey.

Accountants accounted for 11% of the affairs, while police officers and teachers were joint fourth at 10%. Spokesman Tim Agnew said: “It seems that builders, postmen and personal trainers are making the most of the opportunities their jobs offer. They come into contact with many clients every day, and it’s clear from our research that these chance encounters often end up in bed».
