The woman wanted to return the car he sold her as it had a problem while the man had told her everything was fine mechanically.
Cyprus has been shocked by the video released of a man brutally beating a foreign woman who was holding her 11-month-old baby in her arms.
It all started when the woman, who has applied for asylum in the country, went to return the car she bought from a man as it developed problems she was not aware of. In particular, he assured her that the car had no mechanical problems. However, after the payment, the car developed some problems and the woman took it to the mechanic to confirm its condition, with the mechanic informing her that the car did indeed have several problems. In fact, she went to a second mechanic and he also confirmed to her that it has a lot of damage and urged her to return it.
However, when the unfortunate woman went to return it and ask for her money, the man who sold it to her refused and she threatened to report him to the police. The man replied that he can do whatever he wants since no one can do anything to him because he is in his own country. After a while and as the woman was sitting on the steps and persisting, he came down and attacked her. She also tried to attack her roommate who was there to support her.
