After a huge fire broke out, the area around Brixton Market was evacuated and around 100 firefighters responded to the scene.
The three-story warehouse on Electric Lane is lit and used to store items for nearby markets.
According to the London Fire Department, 53 people called 999 to report the fire and the first alert was issued at 8:08 p.m.
Fire brigades and 15 fire trucks from Clapham, West Norwood, Peckham, Old Kent Road, Chelsea and surrounding fire departments were called to the scene.
So far the cause of the fire is unknown.
Brixton Market is a popular shopping and dining area along the famous Electric Avenue and Electric Lane Street, where the fire broke out.

The chaotic scene at the entrance to Electric Lane market, shared online by South London Press news editor James Tomei, tells police to ‘turn back’ people as a fire engine is about to arrive .
According to him, the police and firefighters evacuated the area.
Images posted online show Inferno, with the photo showing smoke rising from a stage in south London.
