Supporters of the two failed Conservative leaders are believed to be hatching a “revenge plan” against leader Liz Truss.

Loyalists to Penny Mordaunt and Tom Tugendat are believed to support Rishi Sunak, believing they will defeat Sir Keir Starmer in the 2024 general election.

New polls suggest the former prime minister is slightly more likely to defeat Labor leaders.

Conservative sources told the I newspaper that supporters of the framework had “damaged a lot” of the camp during a briefing with Commerce Secretary Mordant.

“Some of us are now urging our members to vote for Risi,” they said.

Not because we support him, but because he’s a better option than Liz. My local association has hundreds of members. We will provide support for Rishi.

His local newspaper, the Farnum Herald, wrote:

“Above all, he has experienced political ups and downs as chief minister (including criticism from his wife), which shows that he has a solid core.”

However, Mrs Truss remains a current favorite among Conservatives who vote for the latter two candidates.

He also has some big fans in Westminster, including Michael Fabricanti, Nadine Dorris and Jacob Rhys Mogg.

There was also a blue-blue line between International Trade Minister Anne-Marie Trevelian and Ms. Mordaunt.

In an interview with LBC, Ms Trevelian said she criticized her work ethic and was supportive of Ms Truss.

He said his colleagues sometimes “went back to work” because Ms Mordaunt was “unavailable”.

This comment touched on the minister’s response to a question from his ally Andrea Leadsom on Thursday. But I `m here.

Currently, Sanak is falling behind in the entire leadership race as he is under pressure to announce quick tax cuts like his rival Liz Truss.

However, he has traditionally avoided mimicking rival economic policies, including tax cuts such as national insurance and corporate taxes.

The Treasury said Truss’s financial plan would cost £30bn after she entered No. 10, but said it would not affect public spending.

Each candidate is currently traveling to the UK for the next six weeks to attend 12 meetings of Conservative lawmakers to vote for the next leader.

The results will be announced on September 5 and the public will know who will be the next prime minister.
