The woman who hired GoCar wondered what the strange smell was until she opened her boots and found her dead.

The body found on Monday is believed to belong to a man who had previously rented a car.

The 40-year-old man is believed to have disappeared in Ireland nearly two weeks ago.

According to a source, the 20-year-old woman was “shocked” after being found in a quiet town in Marinabat.

“He picked up a car at one of the GoCar depots and drove a short distance to the village of Mullinavat where he went, I’d say 5 miles,” they told the Irish Mirror.

While driving I noticed a strange smell, I didn’t know what it was, it smelled like gasoline and I thought it was coming from the engine when I started the car.

“But it didn’t go away, and when he got to Millibant, he stopped the car, and it was there that he made the shocking discovery that there was a dead man’s body in his boots.”

GoCar is a car sharing service that lets you rent a car in just an hour by unlocking it over the phone.

Europcar, GoCar’s parent company, was asked how often the car was cleaned.

They replied: “GoCar is assisting the Irish Police to investigate a tragic incident in Kilkenny earlier this week.

“At this point, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased.”

Gardai confirmed that they had stopped the process of the missing person.
