A 15-year-old boy allegedly killed a 14-year-old girlfriend who was found dead in a family home.

According to court documents, Aidan Grant was arrested Saturday morning and charged with murder in the death of Brooke McLaughlin.

The girl’s mother, Rebecca ‘Becky’ McLaughlin, found her at her home at 25 Blackberry Road, Maine, on the night of July 18.

The chief coroner withheld Brooke’s cause of death at the request of the attorney general.

The grant will be held at the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland.

According to Grant’s Facebook profile, he has been associated with Brooke since February 13. In his profile picture, the two of them are kissing in the background of fireworks.

“All of me” Grant capped the photo with a heart emoji.

At the time of the accident, the red Chevrolet Impala was missing. Authorities found the car the next day in Wayne, the town where Grant lives, WMTW reported.

Brooke was an eighth grader at Maranacock High School.

She was “kind, caring, very considerate, open-minded, strong, and (loved) her family and friends,” the obituary says.

Becky sought justice for her daughter’s death in a Facebook post on Saturday.

“I love you my beautiful angel… fly high girl… I’m grieving but I’m trying my best Brooke McClellan… Mom loves you forever, justice has been served… You are always everything to mom.. #justiceforbrooke, “Mom Wrote has attached a video of her song Dancing in the Sky.

Maranacock School Principal Jay Charlett announced Brooke’s death to the community on Thursday.

“I don’t know the status of this tragedy, but we are working with multiple institutions to be mindful of the nature of this tragedy and to support students and staff in a timely and sensitive manner,” Charlett said. ..
