An elderly man living in Cardiff beat up a ‘night shift’ criminal who allegedly stole a protest poster from outside the house.
Ewen Taylor gained national fame after being embroiled in ongoing disputes with his neighbors and accusing him of encroaching on his two-inch property with a new extension.
Grangetownans were fined £90 for criminal damages caused by tapping an extension in September.
The 87-year-old woman began displaying messages outside her home criticizing her family for denying trespassing on her property.
Currently, some of them appear to have been stolen and damaged, Wales Online reports.
The sign reads: “You and your cowboy are construction robbers. [sic]”And” other councils violate the illegality [sic] building. ‘
When she woke up Friday, Taylor said she found the three wooden signs missing from the wooden frame on the front lawn.
He said the two had been completely removed, leaving only a third narrow strip, adding that a poster was also removed from the ground-floor window.
“They’re using ladders or they’re too expensive,” he told the website.
“It’s certainly very tall.”
This follows a similar incident on July 9, when some other signs were allegedly taken.
Regarding the recent disappearance, Taylor said:
“It’s very annoying. It’s actually more annoying.”
Her neighbor, a couple with four children ages 8 to 20, expanded their home in 2020, returning the bathroom to increase dining space.
Its builder tore down the old garden wall and replaced it with a wall that Taylor said encroached into the garden about two inches.
One family said last month: This is a concern, especially for my children.
“When people ask about the signs, they are embarrassed to go out.”
There is no indication that the family was involved in the removal or damage to Mr. Taylor’s poster.
One of the autographs reading, “I don’t like my autograph, tell the council,” was folded in two and left outside Mr. Taylor’s home.
But then he put the striped board back on the pole and posted a new message: “Who used the ladder to steal my sign?”
Taylor, who has lived in her house for 50 years, does not know who is behind the removal of the sign or what their motives are.
South Wales Police say there are no investigations “in progress” but officers will investigate when new information becomes available.

A mum who lives next door told Wales Online last month: ‘Since we moved in 20 years ago [Mr Taylor] He didn’t talk to us. There was no discussion.
‘[The protest] There was a dispute for the first time. Cardiff Council claims the 6 meter extension did not require a plan application and was within 6 metres.then after work [Mr Taylor] I made a straight hole.
Taylor admitted that he used a drill and hammer to put holes in the wall and said that he had removed the strip of stucco from the building’s extension.
