A 12-year-old girl held by her boyfriend in the front yard ran home to escape ammunition from the assailant, one of whom attacked her mother.

Ruby Olivas was holding her 11-month-old brother, Julian, who was watering tomato plants. At that moment, a shooter appeared from the bushes and fired several rounds at the tomatoes.

Surveillance footage from his home in Kansas City, Missouri shows a ruby ​​walking toward a car as a man screams and begins to swing.

Ruby runs to the front door when a shooter, believed to be her abuser, shoots her. In the video acquired by KCTV, a woman can be heard screaming.

“The target was my 12-year-old daughter. The shooter who shot her fired about 14 bullets, one of which hit me,” he said.

Rosa was shot in the upper right thigh. He was taken to the hospital with a broken femur.

“Fortunately, my 12 and 11 months are fine,” Rosa said. “My 12-year-old son was watering tomatoes outside while he was carrying my 11-month-old son. Thank God he was able to put it on.”

When the door opened and the children entered safely, the ammunition hit Rosa lying on the living room floor.

“I heard a gunshot and immediately got up from the floor,” the mother told KCTV. “I didn’t have time to think about something.”

Rosa knew who the unidentified archer was and said that he had been arrested.

The mother plans to keep her family away from the crime scene after she is released from the hospital.

“We have to leave home…because my 12-year-old son was attacked,” Rosa said on the GoFundMe page set up for moving and medical costs.
