According to the new figures, some 104,000 refugees from Ukraine are currently settled in the UK.
When the war with Russia began on February 24, many fled.
Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes and seek shelter as rockets and bombs rained down on their country.
Many were forced to pack their belongings in plastic bags and leave their pets behind due to the urgency.
Stations came under attack as people tried to reach neighboring countries, and evacuation activities in cities like Malipur were hampered by Russian attacks.
Millions have crossed the borders into neighboring countries, reaching Poland, Moldova and Romania.
Thousands are also seeking refugees in the UK, with official figures now revealing the number of refugees across the country.
As of Monday, approximately 104,000 people participate in Ukraine’s visa system, according to figures released by the UK’s Home Office and Immigration and Visa Services.
More than four months have passed since the government visa system began in March.
This figure includes 31,300 under the family system and 72,700 under the Ukrainian sponsorship system.
The figures also show that as of Tuesday, approximately 198,200 visa applications had been filed and 166,200 visas had been issued.
Measures have been taken to address the shortage of accommodation for refugees entering the country. Scotland even has cruise ships to temporarily accommodate new arrivals.
Sir Richard Harrington, Minister for Refugees, said:
“It is important to recognize the selfless work of the community to help Ukrainians integrate into their community.”
“I understand that families have to make difficult decisions to leave home, so please take the time to get this right so we can continue to provide safety to as many Ukrainians as possible. It’s important.”
More than half of those who applied for visas under these schemes arrived in the UK.
This will allow those who have fled the conflict in Ukraine to come to the UK for three years.
The family system allows Ukrainian citizens and their family members to join other families already living in the UK. Sponsorship, on the other hand, allows Ukrainian citizens and their family members to come to the UK if there is a sponsor who can provide accommodation.
Greg Clark, Secretary of State for Empowerment, Housing and Communities, thanked everyone who welcomed Ukrainians into their homes.
He added: “Behind this milestone is a story of 100,000 sorrows. The family was torn apart and forced to leave their father, son and brother behind.
“This is why we want Ukraine to be peaceful and safe, so that brave people can stay safe at home.”
From Thursday, the Government will consider applying for a new sponsorship scheme for unaccompanied children who wish to come to the UK without a parent or guardian, with the consent of the parent or guardian.
