A couple at United Kingdom was arrested for child abuse after a video was released showing them to they give vodka to their baby.
“Measures were taken to protect those involved and a man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of child abuse later that day,” police officers told SWNS of the June incident in Dover, Kent.
In a clip that went viral on Facebook, a woman believed to be the child’s mother holds a bottle of vodka and fills the cap and pours it into the mouth of the baby, who is sitting on the floor. During this, a shirtless man, believed to be the boy’s father, stands nearby, doing nothing.
Fortunately, the incident did not go unnoticed. Police confirmed they went to the property following reports of a disturbance.
Unfortunately, the parents were released on bail and the child is back in their custody, SWNS reported.
