Two people were killed and three others were wounded Wednesday by unknown gunfire in northwest Washington, police said.
Police received a call around 12:50 (local time) about shots fired at two different locations. Police officers who rushed there found two people lying dead, while three injured people sought medical attention at nearby hospitals.
According to preliminary investigation data, authorities are looking for two suspects who were seen getting out of a “small black SUV” and then firing semi-automatic weapons at bystanders. They then got back into their car and drove away.
