It’s a dry, sunny night for most people, but the breeze picks up a bit around the coast.

The Met Office’s official forecast for Saturday 27 August read: “Rain over much of England, Wales and eastern Scotland by mid-afternoon, with best sunshine expected in the west.”

What’s the weather like this Monday?

The ‘Azores Plateau’, which has brought warmer weather in recent weeks, is expected to keep temperatures around 20 degrees in most of the country, with the exception of the far north of Scotland.

It does get a bit cleaner on the east and south coasts though, as it gets quite sharp.

Afternoon sun is expected to cover most of central England and Wales, with dense cloud moving into parts of the north east by late afternoon.

Otherwise, it’s a generally dry day for most people, with a mix of sun and clouds in the evening.
