In an interview with the American magazine Time published this Wednesday (31), the president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, said that “Latin America has to react together to prevent” if Jair Bolsonaro tries to carry out a coup. He was responding to a question about the possibility of the Brazilian president not accepting the election results.
“It was very moving to see the letter from São Paulo, which has one million signatures in favor of democracy, with the transversality of the signatories. It was a powerful sign of Brazilian society”, he said in the interview, referring to the manifesto read in Largo São Francisco, headquarters of the USP Law School.
