The small aircraft circles, flying at low altitude
The pilot of a small plane threatened to crash his plane into a local Walmart store in Mississippi, local police said today, prompting a precautionary evacuation of the store.
Local police in Tupelo, Mississippi said they were made aware of the situation earlier today and began speaking directly with the pilot.

“With the mobility of a plane of this type, the danger zone is much larger even than that of Tupelo,” local police said in a Facebook post.
Police said both the Walmart store and a gas station were evacuated and people scattered to surrounding areas.

Clips of video posted on social media, which Reuters could not immediately confirm, appeared to show a small aircraft circling at low altitude.
