“They say that ‘I have given so much support to Ukraine,’ but where is this money?” This is also a problem… They say that weapons are being sent and they are sending something scrap metal to Ukraine,” the Turkish president said from Belgrade – Serbia buys drones from Ankara
Clear position in favor of Russia and Vladimir Putin expressed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during the press conference with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic, in Belgrade.
As reported by the SKAI correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis KostidisErdogan referred to an attack against Russia and justified the use of energy by the Russian president, while he did not fail to attack, once again, the West and Europe, for the policies they follow.
“As Turkey, we have always pursued a policy of balance between Russia and Ukraine. We will continue to do so. I don’t need to name names right now, I can say very clearly that I don’t find the West’s attitude right. There is the West that follows a policy based on provocations. As long as you try to wage such a war based on provocation, it will not be possible to get the results”the Turkish president initially stated and continued:
“Can we say there is a winner in this war? There is no winner in this war, but there are many losers. We don’t need to talk about financial matters. Regarding the monetary dimension, someone says that “I have given so much support to Ukraine”, but where is this money? This is also a problem… They say that weapons are being sent and they are sending some scrap metal to Ukraine”.
“We are trying to end the war. It doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon. I also say to those who underestimate Russia, they are wrong. Russia is a country to be taken seriously. THE Russia cut off natural gas, prices rose in Europe. Everyone sees everything black. Why didn’t you think of them before?’Erdogan added and concluded by saying:
“Right now, there’s talk of how much the reserves are. Here, of course, Russia will use its own means when everyone is attacking it. We hope to reach a conclusion as soon as possible and be done with this matter. May the world find peace again”.
Aleksandar Vucic, in turn, said that Serbia has entered the list of countries that will buy Turkish drones and believes that in 2023, it will receive the first samples.
