The father allegedly doused the child in kerosene and lit matches in an attempt to intimidate the child and force him to do his schoolwork. Unfortunately, the flame fell on the flammable material and the child was burned.

Hearing the child’s cries, the mother ran into the room and together with the father tried to put out the fire by covering the boy with blankets. Unfortunately, the efforts were in vain.
After the boy’s death the mother filed a complaint against her husband and the police proceeded to arrest him.
