Military authorities in southern Ukraine said they shot down Shahed-136 unmanned, remote-controlled aircraft near the port of Odessa.

Ukraine announced today that it shot down four Iranian-made kamikaze drones used by the Russian armed forces. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has complained that Tehran is harming Ukrainian citizens.

Military authorities in southern Ukraine said they shot down Shahed-136 unmanned, remote-controlled aircraft near the port of Odessa.

Kyiv and the US accuse Iran of supplying Russia with such aircraft, which Tehran denies. Zelensky asked the Foreign Ministry to react to the use of Iranian equipment, his spokesman, Serhiy Nikiforov, said.

“Such actions by Iran are considered as actions against the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and also against the life and well-being of Ukrainian citizens,” he noted in his statement.
