Ukraine to EU: New sanctions against Russia needed for ‘referendums’ – travesty

To impose new economic sanctions against Russia as punishment for the mock “referendums” with which it is trying to annex four Ukrainian provinces called on the European Union the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraineadding that these moves by Moscow are not going to change anything in the way the Ukrainian forces are moving on the battle front.

“The milder the reaction to the so-called referendums, the greater the incentive for Russia to escalate tension and annex further territory,” he added. “In the content of the (EU’s) eighth package of sanctions, we will see how seriously the EU is dealing with the referendum problem,” concluded the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.
