And our democracies, united against autocracy, must defend our values ​​and shape the future of the global economy.”

Our sanctions against Russia are hurting its war economy, while Ukraine is regaining territory on the battlefield. NATO and the transatlantic security alliance are today stronger than ever,” he emphasizes at another point, explaining, however, that the war continues. By investing in renewable energy sources, green hydrogen and raw material value chains, we are building mutually beneficial relationships with countries such as Namibia and Chile, with the aim of their sustainable development and our energy security”, says Ursula von der Leyen, among others.
