His victims were girls from 15 to 23 years old – How did he act and where were the bodies found – Other cases besides the three girls are pending
One of the most talked about murderers in the world died at the age of 76. Scottish serial killer Peter Tobin died in prison after rapidly deteriorating health.
The serial killer had been sentenced to life in prison for the murders of at least three women, with the pending cases of several more who had the misfortune of entering his diseased mind as targets.
Tobin had raped and killed the 23-year-old Polish student Angelica Klakhiding her lifeless body under the floor of a church in Glasgow in 2006.
He himself had been convicted for the murder of 15-year-old Vicky Hamilton from Reading, near Falkirk, in 1991, and the murder of 18-year-old Dinah McNicol in the same year.
The bodies of the two girls were found 17 years later, buried in the yard of Tobin’s former home in Margate, Kent.
The second girl went missing while waiting for the bus after a music festival she had attended and the first girl, a Polish student, worked as a cleaner in the church, under the floor of which the serial killer buried her.
He had denied the charges.
