The Italian politician reiterated her support for Ukraine and emphasized that the energy crisis must end immediately
The winner of the Italian general election, Georgia Meloni, intervened via video conference at a gathering of the Spanish, nationalist Vox party. “Europe must show more courage in facing the great challenges and more humility regarding the problems of its various regions, for the solution of which national policies are more effective”, emphasized the president of the Brothers of Italy.
At the same time, she reiterated her full support to Ukrainewhile returning to the European reality, she added: “we hope Europe will show the solidarity we expect”.
In relation to the energy crisis, the Italian politician underlined that “this crisis has the consequence of sending, to Italian families and businesses, astronomical bills, something that must come to an end immediately”.
Referring, finally, in her electoral victory in ItalyGeorgia Meloni pointed out:
“Today I decided not to leave Rome, this victory filled us with joy but also with a sense of responsibility, since within a few days we will have the opportunity to form the new government. We are waiting for some steps provided by the Constitution to be carried out, but within a few days we will be able to form the new government and we will not lose a minute. I hope that in Spain, as in Italy and in Europe, the majority of citizens will ask us to take the responsibility to govern: we cannot do it alone, but with loyal allies, united against the left.”
