Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk is “thinking” of quitting his job and becoming an influencer, as the richest man in the world wrote on Thursday.
“I’m thinking of quitting my job and becoming a full-time influencer,” Musk tweeted, without elaborating.

It was not immediately clear if Mr. Musk, a productive user of the social media platform, was seriously considering resigning.
Musk, who is also the founder and CEO of the SpaceX rocket company and leader of the start-up Neuralink and infrastructure company The Boring Company, told a news conference in January that he expected to be Tesla CEO for “several years”.
“It would be nice to have a little more free time in my hands, as opposed to working day and night,” he said.
Last month, he asked his Twitter followers if he should sell 10% of his stake in the electric car maker, with which the majority agreed.
It has since sold nearly $ 12 billion worth of stock.
