Kabaeva is a senior executive of the National Media Group, many journalists call her the mother of Putin’s children, and international sanctions have been imposed on her for her close relations with the Russian president.

The house in Switzerland used by Olympian Alina Kabaeva sold to price of 75 million dollars Swiss francs (about 75.5 million dollars). The “Dossier” investigative journalism center refers to the sale of the house, whose journalist contacted the broker who has undertaken the sale of the property.

Kabaeva is a senior executive of the National Media Group, many journalists call her the mother of Putin’s children, and international sanctions have been imposed on her for her close relations with the Russian president.

Her home is in Cologne (Cologny), a municipality in the canton of Geneva, which is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Switzerland and the world. Kabaeva’s life in Switzerland was reported by The Wall Street Journal, which wrote that the Russian gymnast lived in her residence in Lugano and in her villa with a helipad in Cologne. The “Dossier” reporter discovered that only one such helipad is registered in the municipality.

The villa is located on rue Rampe de Cologny, next to the house formerly owned by Vladimir Putin’s friend Gennady Timchenko. This land is part of the area called Villa Hauterive. At the moment this estate is divided into two parts: one used to belong to the Swiss president Gustave Ador, while in recent years it has been owned by Saudis. The second, where Cabaeva lived, according to the documents, belongs to stockbroker Pierre Alain Follier and his wife Van Linn.
