According to the US Pentagon, this package includes ammunition for the HIMARS multiple launch missile systems, more than 23,000 artillery shells, 5,000 remote-controlled mines, 5,000 anti-tank weapons and 200 Humvee personnel carriers.
US President Joe Biden promised his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky last Monday that he would continue to provide Ukraine with everything it needs to defend itself, including advanced air defense systems.
