At least 11 people were killed and 15 others wounded in a shooting at a training site in southwestern Russia on Saturday when two assailants opened fire on volunteers who wanted to fight in Ukraine, the RIA news agency reported.

The Russian ministry’s statement, cited by Russian news agencies, said “two citizens” originally from the former Soviet Union opened fire with automatic weapons during an exercise. “The two terrorists were killed by fire fired in response,” it said. The ministry did not provide any further details about these “two citizens”.
