The death of the 55-year-old British radio presenter, Tim Gough, who died on Monday morning while doing a show on a local station in Suffolk, Britain, caused shock and sadness to fans of the music he played to his listeners.

The music resumed a few minutes later, but the radio producer, who had been speaking moments earlier, did not return.

According to the Daily Mail, the station later confirmed that Tim Gough had died.

GenX Radio posted the news of his death on their social media accounts: “We are devastated to inform you that our dear friend and breakfast host Tim Gough passed away today while presenting his show. We send our love to his family, his son, sister, brother and mom. Tim did what he loved. He was 55 years old.”

His radio career began with Radio Orwell in 1986.
