A few days ago the news was released that the Elon Musk bought Twitter while himself – a few hours ago he posted a video showing him arriving at the company’s reception carrying a sink (a pun since sink in English also means “to sink”). “I’m walking into Twitter HQ. I leave you to consolidate the information” he wrote on his account.

“Chef Twit” – as his Twitter handle is now – recently posted a letter explaining why he is buying the social networking platform – the acquisition is expected to be completed by Friday.

Musk addresses “beloved Twitter advertisers” and says – among other things – that he bought the platform because of its “importance to the future of culture in terms of a common digital square where a wide range of beliefs can be discussed in a healthy way without we resort to violence.”

Also, he says, he bought Twitter not to make easy money but “to try to help humanity, which I love.”

“I did so with humility, recognizing that failure in pursuit of this goal is a very real possibility,” Musk said in his lengthy post.
