The Ministry of the Interior of Moldova announced Monday that debris from a Russian missile shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft forces landed in a Moldovan village on the border with Ukraine, causing property damage but no casualties.

“A rocket which was shot down by Ukrainian air defenses and fell on the outskirts of the village of Naslavcea in the Republic of Moldova, near the border with Ukraine. At the moment, no casualties have been reported, but the windows of many houses have been damaged,” he announced to the Ministry of the Interior.
