TOGG’s first model is an electric SUV – Turkey’s religious affairs chief Ali Erbas prayed for the new SUV’s success

The Turkish president set up a new “fiesta” on Saturday Recep Tayyip Erdogan, inaugurating the facilities where mass production of TOGG’s Turkish electric SUV is scheduled to begin in 2023.

As SKAI’s correspondent in Istanbul Manolis Kostidis pointed out, next to him were the “first lady” of Turkey Emine Erdogan, the chief imam Ali Erbas, his far-right government partner Devlet Bakhceli, the first and only female prime minister of Turkey to date Tansu Çiler the prime minister of Imia and the destruction of the Turkish economy in 1994, as well as the pro-Russian Dogu Perincek.

Dogu Perincek was also the first person internationally to be convicted of denying the Armenian Genocide by a Swiss court in 2007 – but his appeal in Strasbourg vindicated him, as the European Court of Human Rights ruled in 2013 that his case had violated his freedom of speech.

At one time, Erdogan had the pro-European Davutoglu and Babacan by his side, now you have these forces, commented Manolis Kostidis.

Following these, ErdoÄŸan’s former partner became president of the Party of Democracy and Progress Ali Babajanironically stated that “Erdogan promises the future, with Turkey’s dark past”.

TOGG’s first model is an electric SUV, with sales scheduled to begin at the end of the third quarter of 2023. The company plans to export the Turkish SUV to Europe and then to the rest of the world.

In fact, the head of Turkey’s religious affairs service Ali Erbas prayed for the good course of the new SUV model:

“We lift up our hands to you, O God. God, don’t chase us away. Amen! On the day of the foundation of our republic which is the day of pride for our state for our people we are living great moments my God. It’s a big time my God our national car has started its production. God help us to successfully complete the production of our car. God, don’t make our work difficult.”
