More than 100 Russians enlisted from the Chuvash rioted at the military training center in the city of Ulyanovsk because they did not receive them 195,000 rubles that they had been promised. Their appeal was published by the Serditaya Chuvashia Telegram channel and the Gulagu.net website.
“We, risking our own lives, will go to certain death for your own safety and peaceful life! Our state refuses to pay us the amount of 195 thousand rubles promised to us by Vladimir Putin! So why should we go and fight for this state, leaving our families without support?” the conscripts mention in their appeal.

The conscripts refused to join the war until they received the promised payments.
According to the newspaper “Serdita Chuvashia”, forces of the MAT and the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia) have been transferred to the training center. According to the first information, the authorities have “quieted” the rebel soldiers.
