“Once again, we make it clear that we have never had ‘arms transactions’ with Russia and we do not intend to have any in the future,” said a related statement broadcast by the North Korean news agency KCNA.

North Korea’s leadership insisted today that it has never had an arms deal with Russia and does not intend to, in the wake of US allegations that Pyongyang is allegedly supplying Moscow with artillery shells for the war in Ukraine.

“Once again, we make it clear that we have never had ‘arms transactions’ with Russia and we do not intend to have any in the future,” said a related statement broadcast by the North Korean news agency KCNA.

At the same time, North Korea is firing shots at UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, calling his statements about its missile tests “unfair”, which it describes as a “just response for reasons of self-defense and countering US military provocations”. , according to KCNA.

The UN secretary-general on Friday condemned recent missile launches by North Korea and called on Pyongyang to refrain from any action that would further escalate tensions on the Korean peninsula.

“The UN secretary general’s unfair and biased behavior is partly responsible for the seriousness of the situation on the Korean peninsula,” North Korea’s vice foreign minister claimed.
