The Kremlin is considering canceling his annual big press conference Vladimir Putin, Russian media reported on Monday, citing government sources. At this time there is no final decision on whether the interview will take place.

Such an event could happen for the first time in 10 years. Beginning in 2012, the president’s annual major press conference, which is debriefing in nature, takes place every December.

Sources who spoke to Russian media said that preparations for the event have not yet begun.

One of the sources said that when making a final decision, the situation in the “special military operation” zone will also be taken into account, i.e. the developments in the war in Ukraine.

These reports come after the departure of of Russian forces from Kherson, which was considered humiliating for the president of Russia.

However, it is noted that the Kremlin has not been officially appointed.
