The world’s largest platform for providing goods and services has launched a new product – an online “clinic” where patients will be able to get prescriptions for common ailments.
According to the giant, the new “virtual care service” gives users access to “affordable” medical help “when and how they need it”, be it at home, in stores or on the go.

The Amazon Clinic service has already launched in 32 states and provides advice and prescriptions for 23 conditions including asthma, acne, allergies, hair loss, herpes, nausea and erectile dysfunction.
The platform informs its… patients that it works “with qualified doctors and nurses” and that “their sensitive personal data and medical history are safe”.
