At least 12 people were injured in the explosion that occurred today at an apartment complex in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
The spokesman for the fire service in Montgomery County said that the explosion occurred around 09:00 (local time, 16:00 Greek time) and when the first vehicles rushed to the scene, a large fire had broken out.

Twelve people, including four children, were injured. Two injured are hospitalized in critical condition, according to hospital sources.
